Samar and Jawad

Samar Alami and Jawad Botmeh are Palestinians and were convicted in 1994 of conspiracy to cause explosions in relation to the Israeli Embassy and Balfour House bombings. Their own evidence at the trial, together with David Shayer's relevations, suggests that an unknown but obviously sophisticated group took advantage of them. UNISON has worked tirelessly with the 'Freedom & Justice' for Samar and Jawad Campaign to appeal against their conviction and sentencing.
