Higher Ed

UNISON is the largest UK trade union for support staff in higher education. Our members include registrars, librarians, personnel, technicians, administrators, clerks, secretaries, cleaners, craftworkers, catering staff, porters and people working in IT, finance and estates management. We work to improve pay, terms and conditions at national, regional and local level.

Police

It is police staff who make the police tick. Our members work in everything from admin and front desk roles to forensics and photography in every police force in the region.

Energy

UNISON continues to negotiate on behalf of its members in the energy sector. In e-On UK and National Grid UNISON was party to negotiations that secured above inflation pay awards for our members and in particular secured significant pay awards for our lowest paid members.
